Gotta love ’em: Belgians, cats, Dalai Lama

Moving right along, entering our second week after ‘the night that changed everything’…

Gotta love those Belgians. With Brussels at a standstill amid imminent threat and everybody asked to keep quiet about police operations, people decided to fight terrorism with… cats. Check out Belgian surrealism rising to the occasion on Twitter at #BrusselsLockdown

And gotta love the Dalai Lama, too, as he takes issue with the ‘Pray for Paris’ campaign and also with violence fighting violence. Instead, he says, ‘We need a systematic approach to foster humanistic values, of oneness and harmony.’ Check out the interview here

Humor is still one of our best human qualities… what an excellent response to this fear- and pain- loaded subject. I was watching the cats yesterday evening with the kids and the smallest exploded with laughter when he saw the cat in the cupboard attacking his fellow cat sitting peacefully in front of the door. Have a nice day everyone and laugh at least once :).
