Amazing Grace

Here we are (again), on another fabulous summer day.

I just heard that the Dalai Lama was at the Glastonbury music festival in England, on stage with Patti Smith as the crowd of tens of thousands sang Happy Birthday to him. He then cut a cake… Wonder who actually ate the cake (crowd was far too big to share with).

What a world, anyway!

Among all the other items of information that catch my attention (or don’t) – terrorist attacks, football matches, financial crisis, legal victories, movie reviews, weather reports, etc. etc. etc. etc. – I can’t get one out of mind: Obama leading thousands of mourners in South Carolina singing, « Amazing Grace. »

Doesn’t get much better than that.

Makes my day, again.
