J’apprécie avec gratitude votre soutien de mon « travail » dans ce champs poètique, qui, comme notre pratique Zen, est un des rares champs restants qui échape aux « chiffres » qui dominent notre monde contemporaine.

A thank you to all those who came to the reading at The Red Wheelbarrow tonight.
I appreciate and am grateful for your support for my « work » in this poetic field, which, like this Zen practice of ours, is one of the rare remaining fields that escapes the « numbers » that so dominate our modern world.

A special, important note: The name of the bookstore where I read is taken from the most famous and marvelous of the poems of William Carlos Williams, a constant inspiration for me in my work and practice:

so much depends
upon

a red wheel
barrow

glazed with rain
water

beside the white
chickens.
