Happy and back, mutually

After all these weeks away, here I come again.
Summer was deep and wide and full. I loved the sun, the sea, the moon, the trees, the forests, the darkness, the light, the heat, the chill, the cities, the highways, the rain, the thunder… There were so many beautiful meetings, with myself and others, with the world each moment.
Now here we are, together again with shared words and autumn falling toward us.
I’m happy to find you.
Today I came across this from Rabbi Don Ani Shalom Singer Sensei:
« Once, in my early days of sitting, Maezumi Roshi looked long at me, and tears filled his eyes. ‘You can do it,’ he said. Out of the blue, he said, ‘You can do it.’ Teachers love their students. He used to say, ‘It is always mutual.’ «
