We just sit together.
It starts like incense smoke, a fine strand rising straight, direct, unmoving. Without warning it suddenly disperses, broken and scattered in a thousand directions, wildly, freely disappearing into the splendid chaos of what is, unseen, ungraspable, unknown.
Then the bell struck twice means it’s time to rise.

Enseignante Zen et poète, Sensei Amy “Tu es cela” Hollowell est née et a grandi à Minneapolis, aux Etats-Unis. Arrivée en France en 1981 pour étudier la littérature et l’histoire, elle y est restée, s’installant à Paris, où elle élève ses deux enfants et gagne sa vie en tant que journaliste.

Last night Ray Chen played the violin on the Elisabeth Contest for Violin.
One with the violin – free to play whatever – one with the orchestra – he became the music – he became the contest –
He made a few faults but nobody cared: he won.
He made us listen. He made us hear. He made us remember what it is all about…
They said: " He had a good communication with the public …"
In the intervieuw before he showed a little card that he always carries in his violinbox with " Smile from the heart" on it. He said: "This is what i may never forget: playing the violin from the heart"
