Neither near nor far

The garden wilder than ever today, Sunday morning wind seems to whip even the sun here and there.
Is something ending or beginning?
September is neither near nor far.
What season is it?
This one.
And in his sutra, the layman Vimalakirti said:
« Ah, Rahula, you should not speak of the benefits and blessings gained by leaving the household life. Why? Because to be without benefits and without blessings is to leave the household life. »

Or, as Benny Goodman said, "It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got swing."

One rock to an other;" Hey, let’s roll.." "Yeah, rock me baby.."

Also in this sutra Vimilakirti talks to Maitreya about Enlightenment in clear and beautiful words. It’s too long to quote here in full.
But this fits in, I think:
“Enlightenment is free of presumptions concerning all objects. Enlightenment is free of the functioning of all intentional thoughts. Enlightenment is the annihilation of all convictions. Enlightenment is free from all discriminative constructions.”

The ultimate realm is without Jesus, rocks and trees.
That’s where they are one and shouting it out.

He was and is the rocks and the trees
The same way I am the rocks and the trees
    Right?

    Words accord, silence accords.
You can’t stop, Ting! Don’t even try!
As Christ told the Roman soldiers who threatened him as he entered Jerusalem, "You can shut me up, but the rocks and trees will keep shouting it out!"

    I dont know…
    No one knows

    Yet I speak
    Yet I dont speak

    I listen
    I see
    I feel

I admit I don’t know when to shut up.
Just found this sutra – which was new to me – very inspiring.
I wish I could tell you how happy I am – at times- with the Dharma.

If only we could communicate with typed letters.

Who knows when to speak and when not to speak, what to say and not to say?

I don´t really know and I am not worried about knowing or not knowing

I just speak when is necessary to speak and be quiet when is time for that also

What a lovely sutra! I had never read it before.

    Vimalakirti to Subhuti:
“All language does not ultimately exist, except as liberation. The nature of all things is liberation.”

What kind of language is that?
