Back again, night (slow and late)

Almost feels like I never left. I felt so much « here » wherever I was.
And yet…
New York is a big, hard, tall city, without round edges or cushions, constantly busy and in motion. It is known as the city that never sleeps, after all. Although sometimes I think it is really the city that is always asleep to the « other » side of being. It never seems to rest.
Someone said New York is the source of what we call « globalization. » It’s palpable everywhere you turn there, an endless array of everyone and everything, whirling in a hundred tongues and colors. No one there even seems to notice it anymore.
Had innumerable conversations about DSK, with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds and points of view. Everybody is interested. And I’m utterly fascinated by what this story surely says about us all. Can’t verbalize it yet. To be continued…
And now back to Paris, as always the most beautiful city in the world, night falling slow and late.
