A life filled with life

All these people in the streets protesting against the measures proposed by the French government to raise the retirement age…
A journalist wonders in Le Monde how many writers were among the protesters. Good question. And how many Zen teachers?
The writer’s life knows no age. A Zen life, too, is ageless.
What does it mean to retire? So many people « lose » their lives trying to « earn » their « living. » They live to work in a material world.
But the truth is that the problem is not so much a question of the retirement age, but rather a question of living a full life. Not a life filled with objects, devoted to obtaining, accomplishing, consuming.
A life filled with life.
