(Maybe) I’m amazed

So much « happening » these days, and every « thing » throughout the day seems to be « unexpected. »
I never know what I will find in my « inbox » – in the computer, on the phone, on my plate, on the Métro, around the corner, in the next room, the next minute, under my foot, in my hand…
I’m amazed stepping out the door to find the warmth (or the chill), the pale (or bright) hint of light.
I’m amazed to meet a stranger beside me on the sidewalk, waiting to cross the same street at the same moment. How astounding that we should both end up here at this very instant! How did we each get here just exactly now?
We each came our « own » way, which in fact is the same way, here and now, after all.

Yes. That’s why we say the path is the way.
